LIGHT 'EM UP - FALL OUT BOY
This video really shows of the cinamotography as there are no other element to really show off in this piece. I think that for our video we need to really show of our cinamotography skills to make the video look as good as possible. As we want a mix of narrative and performance, I can pull elements of the narrative from this video and elements of performance from others.
This video is different to ones that I have loked at from the Pop genre and features only a narrative element. There is no element of performance in these videos and this is something that Fall Out Boy do a lot in their videos, as they create a number of different videos to create a story. I really like this idea of an overarching story line over multiple videos but for our piece this would be very hard to achieve.
The colour scheme for this piece is quite dark as obviously the main focus of the video is the fire, and they have found so many different ways to show this fire element in the three minutes. We are planning to have two sides to our piece and so the two colour schemes would be completely different.
