THE PRENTENDER - FOO FIGHTERS
The Pretender does an interesting thing in terms of the narrative and the performance as they are blended into one. Usually you have the two things seperate but the band acting in the narrative. But The Prentender does it so that the band are playing and at the same time are in the narrative element of the piece. This is something that I really like but would be very hard to feature in our piece.
This song bases a lot of its narrative of the lyrics of the song, even though some videos do this it is not that common to base the story of the lyrics. Most of our story will be mapped out by listening to the lyrics to see what the meaning behind the song is.
Like the other songs the colour scheme is very well done. In the image above you can see that Dave Grohl dressed in white which goes with the white flooring, and the police dressed in black in the black background as well. This is very clever and I hope to be able to encorporate some element of this into our piece.
